- SlideShare Branded Channels SlideShare, one of the long time websites on content sharing, launched SlideShare Channels to extend the value of presentations shared on the SlideShare network. SlideShare Channels provide branding opportunities for those companies that have content plus a following of related content on the SlideShare network. "It's a social media campaign rather than advertising directly," SlideShare CEO Rashmi Sinha said. "It's what the [your] company is doing on Twitter, which now it can do with more longform content [on SlideShare]."
- Social Media and Young Adults "Two Pew Internet Project surveys of teens and adults reveal a decline in blogging among teens and young adults and a modest rise among adults 30 and older. Even as blogging declines among those under 30, wireless connectivity continues to rise in this age group, as does social network use."
